Meet The Doctor

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Robert L. Flint, DMD, MD

Dr. Robert L. Flint is a graduate of the University of Utah, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology. He received his DMD and MD Degrees from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. He also completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Louisville Hospital.

While working towards his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the University of Louisville, Dr. Flint received various leadership, scholastic, and clinical awards. He received his Medical Doctorate, completed an internship in General Surgery, and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Flint is a Board Certified Surgeon and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In private practice since 1996, Dr. Flint devotes time to continuing his education by participating in programs to increase his skill and knowledge, as well as staying up to date on the latest advancements and techniques. Dr. Flint currently practices at 4970 South 900 East, Suite C in Salt Lake City, and 114 East 12450 South, Suite 104 in Draper.

Since 1995, Dr. Flint has participated and continues to participate in Operation HOPE with P.A.G.E.S. (Philippine-American Group of Educators & Surgeons). He is the Director of Surgery/Surgical Coordinator for the team and has traveled to many areas in the Philippines to perform surgical repair of cleft lip and cleft palate.
 
Dr. Flint enjoys his association with the Utah JAZZ and the Utah Grizzlies.  He has had the opportunity to treat many of the players and their families, and continues to do so each season. 

A native of Salt Lake City, Dr. Flint is married with four children and two grandchildren. In his free time, he takes advantage of his private fixed-wing license and his private helicopter license. He also enjoys water and snow skiing, ice hockey, scuba diving, snowmobiling, mountain biking and motocross.
